Tony McDonnell - Director

Tony McDonnell is the Director of Future Carpentry and Linings, bringing over 26 years of industry experience  across large-scale residential and commercial construction.


Tony has proven capability delivering projects for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 builders, with extensive experience in apartment developments and complex commercial environments.


Prior to emigrating to Australia, Tony worked in the United Kingdom as a Site Manager for a Tier 1 builder, where he was responsible for the delivery of multi-storey apartment projects, coordinating subcontractors, managing construction programs, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.


After relocating to South Australia, Tony commenced as a Site Manager for a Tier 2 builder and was shortly promoted to Project Manager, overseeing multiple work packages, project schedules, and stakeholder coordination.


This senior management experience provides Tony with a strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies, compliance requirements, and builder expectations.


Tony holds a Level 9 Diploma in Construction Management, a Certificate III in Carpentry, and maintains a Carpentry and Supervisor’s Licence.


In January 2023, he established Future Carpentry and Linings, combining hands-on trade expertise with senior project management capability to deliver high-quality carpentry and interior linings solutions.


Tony’s leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to professionalism underpin the company’s strong reputation across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 commercial projects.

Daniel - Leading Hand Carpenter | Certificate III in Carpentry

Daniel is a qualified carpenter and Leading Hand with over 10 years’ experience across the residential and commercial construction sectors.


He has played a key role in delivering major projects including Trinity College, Henley Beach Library, Lockleys Hotel, and the Margaret Tobin Centre at Flinders Hospital.


As a Leading Hand, Daniel is responsible for coordinating on-site carpentry teams, maintaining program efficiency, and ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety are upheld throughout each project.


His experience spans structural carpentry, second fix, and detailed ceilings and partitions packages, with a strong focus on quality, productivity, and practical problem-solving.

Andres - Carpenter | Certificate III in Carpentry

Andres is a qualified carpenter with four years’ experience across both residential and commercial construction projects.


During this time, he has contributed to a range of high-profile developments including 22 King William Street, William Buck, Hindley Street Boulder Gym, Commonwealth Bank (King William Street), Happy Valley, 30 Pirie Street, Trinity College, Henley Beach Library, Lockleys Hotel, and the Margaret Tobin Centre at Flinders Hospital.


Andres brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship on every project.


He is experienced across structural carpentry, fit-out works, and finishing trades within active commercial environments.

Outside of work, Andres enjoys spending time with his family, taking his son to the park, and beach days.
